You would think HGTV would make the appliances work just to keep from being embarrassed when they sold it.

I’ve driven past a few of those just because I was there like Mrs. Doubtfire & Full House.

Sex & the City was an accident. We were walking along in NYC and there were studio lights set up on the block we were walking down. When we got up to it, Parker and Corbit were getting filmed doing a scene. You trip over places like Friends and Tiffany’s in NYC all the time.

I’ve been to a bunch of other places they’ve filmed at too like Blade Runner, Batman, Mission Impossible, Ferris, Blues Bros, and a lot more.

More than 20 movies have been filmed in Astoria, Oregon, beginning in 1937 with Roaring Timber. Teri and I visited Astoria in 2003. She waited on the ground while I ran to the top of the 125-foot-tall Astoria Column. She was impressed by my speed and stamina. Then we visited the house and the marina where parts of Free Willy were filmed and we saw the house featured in The Goonies. There were "No trespassing" signs at the Goonies house then – but a Kansas City couple bought the house in January 2023 and they're welcoming fans to visit. Yay!
