Kelly Clarkson will have a channel, there's a new James Corden thing and lower prices!

With the launch of the new app next month, the company will be introducing new ‘guest DJ channel takeovers’ from over 160 popular artists and bands, ranging from Olivia Rodrigo and Cardi B to Alice Cooper and Luke Combs.

OH H.....EYE OH
So this will be a totally different separate app than we have now or will our existing app just update to this.
(I just scanned through the article and may have missed the answer to my question)

The current app is going to get a major update. And a lot of channels you might listen to are going to be app only or if you have the 360 capabilities in the car you might be able to get those too. Deep Tracks is moving to the 300's. As is Rock Bar.

I too am mostly not a fan of musicians pontificating on music, but occasionally there's a good one. What comes to mind is when Pat Carney (of The Black Keys) took "total control" of one of the channels I listen to - either XMU, Alt Nation, or Spectrum - and played a good mix of cool stuff. He introduced me to this OG of punk:
