God knows that every person on DRC dislikes things that others love. I don't care for Marx Brothers movies, 3 Stooges, or most Disney movies. I also dislike most "upbeat" songs. But I refrain from shitting on them, because there's no point in criticizing personal taste. It just pisses people off.
Or people that say they don't like something and that automatically makes them the harbinger of all that is good and holy in the world just based on an opinion. Not naming names (and no Scotch, I don't mean you.)
That's why I refrain from bashing on Nickelback too bad because they have some good songs, and some stuff from their newest release isn't bad at all.
Also why I've quit joining in the 'I hate Apple' arguments, simply because it's a product I like because of continued use over the years. Someone else doesn't like it, up to them.
I personally don't like Bro Country, any of the new Country Rap, or the new pop music that gets played on the radio nowadays. But even from that last category I found a few favorites (Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Adele, Bruno Mars, others I've listed previously) so I can't say there's an intense dislike there either. Personally if something someone else likes is something I don't, I just use the title of my favorite Yes song, "Leave it."
