New Android Phones

Between my Pixel 6 once again falling onto bricks and cracking the screen, it only being able to be charged if the plug was put in with a certain side pointing up (figure that out) and the battery not lasting as long, I decided it was time.

But not before a new phone came out.

Ausurion hooked me up with a free replacement.

The "problem" (causing my delay in upgrading) was that one of my apps was last updated in something like 2012 and I originally got it from the Amazon store...which can't happen anymore.

So after lots and lots of trial and error (including paying a small amount for a "transfer your apps" app), I found out that one of the major issues was something about current Android versions targeting security SDK something-or-other 22 or lower and apparently we're at 24 or something. I had to download this other app (which works in conjunction with a different app) to ignore the target SDK whatever.

But I got it working!
