So, but the owners doesn't have any plans on moving the team out of Arizona. Hell the owners are willing to put some of there money to pay for a new arena and they bought some minor league hockey and moved them to Tucson.

I posted this several post above, here an reminder.

    Basically they have three locations:

The golf coarse next to ASU
The Salt River Indian Reservation near Scottsdale
Tear down the old South building of the Phoenix Convention Center

This is exactly the reason I don't think it's a good idea for the NHL to expand again cause teams will move and people will get pissed off about it. And that fucking idiot Bettman thinks it's a good idea to keep expanding south to areas where it rarely, if ever even freezes in the winter, a sport that plays on ice that is not even natural in Canada during the playoff time. Hey guys let's not stop in Las Vegas, let's put an NHL team in Mexico too, and how about Honolulu while we're at it!

Yet they keep having to move. Why? If they were an economic benefit people would be fighting to get them in/ stay in their community. How many other NHL teams are changing their venue for the 3rd time in what, 6 years?

Sooner or later we're going to have to face it the NHL will expand and Las Vegas is all set for an hockey team. They paid there expansion fee, they're new arena already open and they have nearly over 10k season ticket deposit people.

NHL season-ticket deposit drive reaches 9,000 | Las Vegas Review-Journal

That article is little over a year ago, who knows how many they have now.

The NHL will fail in Las Vegas. They'll lose interest quickly.

The only reason why the Coyotes were hurting was because the arena was in the west valley, people from the east valley didn't want to drive nearly an hour to goto a late game and come home late. When they were centrally downtown nearly 15 years ago. The games were nearly sold out, but the venue was way to small to host an hockey game. Hell part of the stands were over the hockey ring. It was simply Glendale offered a great deal and they suffered the price with the attendance. Now the new arena will be downtown or in the east valley where the true attendance is at.

I seriously doubt it, there have been some preseason and regular hosted gamed there and the fans attended there. The only issue people have is the gaming, get over it. There are casinos next to some arenas and stadiums for years and people don't complain.

There a new casino opened next to the Cardinals/Coyotes buildings and Phoenix is still attracting big events.

So are we going to argue about this again, all night long? I have better things to do!

They going to attend 41 games a year? London sells out the 2 NFL games they get, yet NFL Europe was a complete failure.

    So do I, like sleeping.

Question, how many Coyotes games to you go to every year?

I know the NFL Europe league failed, I don't like our US teams playing games over there. But certain dumbass NFL owners pursue on playing games over there and want a team over there. The NFL can expand, but not in Europe!

I believe, the fans will show up for all 41 games in Vegas.

I usually attend maybe like 4 or 5 games a year, I don't earn a lot of money as I wish. So I usually sit in the cheap seats, if ticket prices were more reasonable I would probably become a mini season ticket holder. For the other valley sports teams, I can't stand the Suns and Cardinals tickets prices are crazy and I enjoy going to a few Dbacks games.

How many Predators games do yo go every year?

Well since I haven't lived in Tennessee for almost a decade not many. Last time was a playoff game in Phoenix like 4 years ago. 10 hours one way is a bit far to travel for a hockey game.

NO WAY! I live on the Kansas side! It's much nicer over there ;) I live on the Southwest side in suburbia. I grew up in Kansas and I have a lot of family so after my divorce it only made sense to move there.

They could be like English soccer & have 20 teams. The bottom 3 would have to drop to the second tier every year. That would keep the best teams at the top level of hockey

After reading the article, I'm excited that Vegas will finally get an professional sports team. I do like the possible team name Las Vegas Black Knights, not the Las Vegas Aces.

and NO one better suggest the Las Vegas Coyotes!!!

The Coyotes are about to announce a new possible arena here in the Phoenix area.
