One time I was talking to our neighbor (the doctor) about the Sorresto collar for dogs. It keeps them free of ticks. And I joked that it works so well, why don't they make it for people? And her response was basically that the collar was slowly killing the dogs, but because of their short lifespan, it doesn't really matter. An interesting concept to ponder.
Oh shit that is interesting. They can get a shot for it today right? Like a preventative one? I think we got that for my pup Kyra way back in the day.
But they don't have a preventative shot for humans for I guess exactly what your Dr friend was talking about.
Also I wonder if it makes a difference with breeds. Like a Chihuahuas live the longest and big Sheppard dogs live the least. But I guess even like 15 or so years isn't enough for it to really matter with those collars or shots.
HAHAHAHA!!!!! I just noticed this now. That was a funny joke Scotch. HER RESPONSE????!!!! You gave away the joke there when you implied a lady could be the doctor. I thought you were being serious for a second there.
I almost fell for it. Well done.
