It pretty cool to see NFL returning back to Los Angeles after 21 years with no team. It does suck for St. Louis though, if the Chargers do follow.

I know most people are against this idea, but I still say there could be a possible NFL expansion in the near future for returning teams to St. Louis, San Diego and other possibly cities?

Another thing at least the NFC West will finally make sense with Arizona, Seattle, San Francisco and now L.A. not St. Louis, which should been a North division team.

I was happy when the Rams & Raiders moved out of LA. Games were always blacked out & you would only be able to watch a game when either were playing away.

Almost every 49ers game was on tv then.

I guess rules have changed now, so games are rarely blacked out. I see just about every Titans & Falcons game when I'm home.

I need to go to a game some time in the next few years

I'd be surprised if LA will support two NFL teams, when support was always lukewarm for one. I know NYC has two, but the northeast is much more football crazy than is California, and the New York metro area is MUCH larger than LA. LA may be the second largest market, but it's not even close to NYC.

New York MSA: 20 million
Los Angeles MSA: 13.2 million

Roanoke, VA MSA: 324,000 (2020 estimated growth) :dunno1

The Rams should have to pay.

You would think so, but they were all excited about having a team in St Louis, they made it easy for them to leave before the stadium was paid off.

I wonder if it would work better if teams where owned by the community like the Green Bay Packers are?
