Progress bar when time shifting

I've seen this going on for a couple months when I start Opie & Anthony from the beginning. When I go to fastforward through commercials, the slider bar still thinks it's 6:15am where I originally started the show. Not sure if others have seen this, but here's our confirmation that the next technician probably won't admit. :)

Them: Hi, my name is ---, Thank you for contacting SiriusXM. How may I help you?
    Them: Hi
Me: Hi Them, I'm writing regarding an issue I've reported previously. It seems to not be resolved yet. Basically if I've rewound live content, the progress bar never moves forward.
Me: I've noticed though that if I open on demand content, the progress bar DOES move so it's not a browser issue
Them: I apologize for the inconvenience.
Them: SiriusXM is working on the issue and will deploy the fix as soon as it's available.
Me: So you are aware of it
    Me: ?
Them: Yes, we are aware of this issue and our experts are working on it.

I just tried it and it seems to be working ok for me on Fire Fox.

    Maybe it's version-specific, which we didn't discuss.

    I'm on FireFox version 17.0

I was at 17.0.1 but it updated to 18 when I checked.

Have you done the old clear the cache and cookies thing?

    Hi there -

Some times clearing a browser's cookies helps our customers with their streaming experience.

You're not using something silly like Windows 8 are you?

Nope, Windows 7. I'll try it in IE next time I'm there.

Do you have some active virus / spyware scanner running? :idunno:

I'm in a business environment, so yes there's virus scanning running.

I'm having the same problem in Internet Explorer.

There really should be no further troubleshooting to do, since Listener Care did indicate that they recognize this known issue.

This issue does NOT happen in the new beta player
