Ya wants a song with a lot of weird noises and sound effects? I gots a song with a lot of weird noises and sound effects! Here is Cocktails For Two by Spike Jones & His City Slickers, with Carl Grayson on lead vocal. This reached #4 on Billboard's Best Sellers chart in February 1945 behind Bing Crosby & the Andrews Sisters' Don't Fence Me In, the Andrews Sisters' Rum & Coca-Cola and two versions of Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate The Positive (Johnny Mercer and Bing Crosby & the Andrews Sisters).

Ermal "Ernie" Fraze invented the pull-tab – popularly known as a pop-top – in 1959 and patented it in 1963. Jim Ed Brown's 1967 #3 country hit Pop A Top, written by Nat Stuckey, begins with the sound of a can of beer being opened. Alan Jackson's 1999 remake uses the same sound but obviously not the same can of beer.

In 1978, all four members of Kiss released solo albums. On Gene Simmons' album, there's a song "Livin' In Sin". Partway through a phone rings, Gene says "Hello?" and you hear a lady losing her mind over talking to him. I always wondered if it was real or staged.

Oh, is this Gene Simmons?
Oh, can I, aw, oh my God, oh, uh, what room is
Is it true what they say about you
That you get to know your fans personally
Gene, uh
Oh my God!
