Do you guys cut those plastic things that six packs of coke come in? Or in this specific example, it was an eight pack of Powerade.
I cut the shit out of them. Cuz I've seen videos of like a seal having it stuck around its neck and it just makes me so sad. I don't even know if me cutting it actually does anything but it can't hurt. It's plastic so it's probably going to wind up in the ocean.

If I don't make sure every single plastic loop is cut on one of those things before I throw it out, my OCD won't let me sleep at night.
That's not exaggerating. There have been a couple of times where I was lying in bed and started thinking that I may have missed the tiny little circular hole at the top so I had to get out of bed turn on the kitchen light and make sure it was cut before I could go to sleep.

It would be fun to give that pooper to kids that make spit-balls in school.
When we buy soda, it's in a sleeve, which is a long box. If I buy canned beer, it comes with these hard plastic things, which are kind-of difficult to snap the cans out of.
I throw that plastic thing into the recycling, but wherever it ends up, I don't think it's a hazard.
