Well, Alex Trebek is dead, but DRC finally has a Jeopardy thread.

Some people may wonder what the big deal is; it's just another game show, right? Jeopardy is unique, in that the knowledge and pace of the game is like a sport. It takes pure skill, and it pits one person against another, unlike any other game show. You can't fake it. And you can't Google the answers.

Look at all the other game shows. They read like 5 questions in a half-hour. People go on and on about their life story, all while filling air time. But Jeopardy is the real deal.

Good call on this thread Aaron. And yea scotch it really is good at not wasting time and being a real test of reflexes with the buzzer, time management and intelligence.

We should start posting questions like that Portland one here then the answer like a day later or whatever. It would be fun.

Also this is a crazy coincidence. I still don't have cable so I watch x files reruns some nights. The episode I'm watching RIGHT NOW just had an Alex Trebek cameo as this intimidating "man in black" hahah. What are the odds? Literally like 5 mins after I first noticed this thread it happened. I should buy another FL Lotto ticket.

Only game show WORTH watching anymore. I record it on my DVR and watch them later.
