I've been noticing lately that the judges (or Jennings?) have been really over the top with disqualifying answers. Just two recent examples are pronouncing Wimbledon as "Wimbleton", and giving an answer of "Gumbel" (not good enough), and then saying Bryan (wrong) instead of Bryant.
Considering that Jennings' pronunciation of "genre" as "johrn" instead of "john-ruh" would be considered incorrect by 95% of the population, he should back-off a bit. I don't see that it matters how one pronounces things, if it's clear what they're getting at. It just makes him look like an elitist dick.
