Even my SL2 is hard to see in the daytime in a car. Never had that issue with any XM radio I have had. I think that is because they tended to use more drab black on grey while the SL2 uses a white on blue which looks jazzier but has less contrast thus harder to see.

One other difference. The xm radios needed a backlight to be visible at night. The SL2 does not.

No clue on the 777 thing.
I never had one of those, but figured that we'd have something in our archives.

No button pushing this weekend - someone 80 k away has a Tivoli Sirius for sale, going for a Sunday drive. Showed a picture to Daughter Two - she said its gorgeous. Mind you she has a Tivoli Model Two, that is waiting for a flat/apartment to put it in. :) Just could not resist!

The Tivoli did not come with a remote - I have tried my Stiletto, Sirius One and Stratus remotes - not a sausage. Will have to spring for one over ExtortionBay eventually?

I must admit it has a very nice AM tuner - actually makes listening to the lone local AM quiet pleasant - sound wise - as for programming :-( .
