I know what this thread is about but I have a question about printer ink.

When ink is added to a page, it slightly changes the paper's thickness so it is, in a sense, 3D printing.

I know what ink I'll be buying from now on. This cheap knockoff brand did the trick. I got a message that said something like "HP can not guarantee the quality of this product" or something like that but no other issues.

I printed this with the new cheapo ink:

and everything looks good to me. Also I barely ever print. I bought the printer to be nice to Pam one day in 2024 when she said she needed to print a bunch of shit. I bought it to be cute and lure her over to my place. I probably print under 10 pages a year. I used to go do it at a FedEx Office. It is nice to have one at home now, even if I barely use it. If Pam doesn't need it for anything the ink will probably solidify and harden into a useless clump before I need to replace it for running low.

If I bought the HP shit it would have come out to somewhere between $75-$100. This was $40. Even if it is lower quality I'm completely cool with that much of a savings.
