I think I saw them twice on that tour.

I saw them both in NJ (Meadowlands) and Boston (Worcester actually). First time was the Signals tour of 82/83. Second time was Power Windows in 85/86. It's funny to think that I was questioning myself for seeing them the 2nd time; I was worried that they were getting long-in-the-tooth. I used similar logic to convince myself not to see the Stones on the Steel Wheels tour in '89. :roflmao:

I think I saw Rush 12 or 13 more times.
Signals was the first tour.

I’m not a Stones fan, but I would have liked to have seen them before tickets were impossible to get without taking out a second mortgage.

I only saw Rush once. April 1st, 1980 in Winnipeg, MB. I entered a contest at Kelly's Stereo Mart (long gone). The contest was run by THE local Regina radio station for teenagers in 1980 (CJME -- now news). And I (along with 29 other people) won the the "Rush Rock Ride To Winnipeg". We (me and a friend) got on a bus in Regina, SK the morning of the 1st. Stopped in Brandon, MB for lunch. Someplace in Winnipeg for supper. One of those stops was to a Bonannza. Then to the concert. It was one of my first concerts I ever went to. It was fun. Bus ride overnight home. Got home at 5 or 6AM next day.

I loved "Permanent Waves" their latest album which I owned. I really hadn't heard a lot of their older stuff at that point. The concert opened my ears to their older stuff and I became a huge fan going forward. As luck would have it, the setlist IS on the internet. They did a lot of songs.

I had to look for this one too. I remembered it almost immediately. The video was played on BET. I recalled one of Babyface's siblings was the in the group. I was surprised to find out two of three guys were his brothers.

I'm not sure why, but the song re-entered the chart on Nov 24, 1990 at number 92 and peaked at #19 on Feb 16, 1991.

This is basically why the following thread was created. Young MC is mentioned in the first post of it.

Are They A One-Hit Wonder?

Here's a fun little exercise (since it came up in another thread) The artists below are "technically" not one-hit wonders. But "subjectively", are they? Weigh in below. (note: only putting acts with two top 40's - one of them in the top 10, not including them if they had three or more, like...
