I wonder how much more you paid due to tariffs? If only they'd get a little "hostile" and show us...

You know she's from Plaistow NH, right? The Leavitt Auto places are her family.

That's messed up asking families to uproot if they have family, kids, husband or wife working for other companies to uproot themselves to relocate closer.

Unless you are high up on the ladder, then you might have to. For me personally, I only have couple family members living in Arizona. My partner used to live on the east coast until he came back home to live closer to his family since they are getting older. He said if his parents weren't around anymore, he would move back to the east coast. Plus, he does have a pretty big family out here. That would be hard for me if I had a big family. I would probably be in favor of moving out east or something. Plus get away from the damn heat here.

Liusandedian, based in China, sells Etkin-branded car seat covers on Amazon – and gave the address of a San Jose woman as their return address. Hundreds of seat covers have been returned – but by giving a false address, Liusandedian avoids having to issue refunds because, hey, no seat covers have been returned to them!

Hundreds of huge Amazon packages arrive at California woman’s doorstep for over a year after Chinese seller lists her home as return address

This story seems pretty preposterous. Why would anyone believe that a Chinese company has a return center in San Jose? And why does the company think that if they simply provide an incorrect return address, they don't have to provide refunds? But one thing's for sure: Amazon should've dropped this company as soon as this scheme was discovered. Also, if you see Kay, tell her I said hi.

Funny, that exact same thing happens to me a day or two after a night of drinking alone at home.

Somehow China knows to send all Philadelphia Eagles related Amazon returns to my address.

Did you not read the story? Sellers outside the USA are required to either provide a US shipping address, provide a pre-paid shipping label, or allow returns to be made without shipping back the product. Amazon just never verified the provided address was valid.

I did not see that particular detail. Regardless, there are still 2 obvious problems. For one, a company can't provide a return address, and then claim they didn't receive the returns because the address they provided is bogus. And secondly, Amazon should have shut it down as soon as they confirmed that the address was bogus.

Just bought this:

I watch a Youtube channel called Freakin Reviews where he reviews As Seen on TV and other stuff. In his review of this mug it held ice for over 24 hours and kept coffee at 130f after 4 hours. Both a downside and upside is its size. It's 24 oz so it holds a lot but it won't fit under my Keurig. That's ok, I'll just brew the coffee in a measuring cup and pour it in.

The mug I have now was my dads and it's super wide and won't fit in the car. He wanted one that could be microwaved and it was the best option. I looked it up and I got it for him on Amazon in 2014. It's time for an upgrade.

Also it's next day delivery. I think this will be the first thing I bought on Amazon that I get the next day so that's cool.

This is the 2014 one I'm working with now:

Contigo update time. I now have 3 of them. The OG one I bought:

And then two of these:

One in black and one in blue. They are great. I carry the bigger one around with me on my walks and a couple days ago I dropped it square on its lid on the pavement. It was not a soft drop. The plastic lid got a bit scuffed but it didn't break or leak and still works fine.

I carry one of the smaller ones around with me on my Disney days and by now I'm used to just having it in my hand all day. It's also nice to have hot coffee during the whole 3 hour trip up there.

They make good gifts. So far I've given two out as gifts for various occasions.

This was a good call. The blue one I have is just for water and the other is for coffee. The big one is for everything.

5 years ago I was all about Contigo. I still have it and it's all chipped and beat up but the vacuum seal is intact and It's a good bottle. I had 2 of them but I left one in the little bag thing they have in front of your seat on Expedition Everest in Animal Kingdom. That was years ago and I can still clearly remember how pissed I was when I was like 5 mins off the ride and remembered. I could have gone back and asked a cast member for help finding it but that would have been a big hassle for everyone.

About 2 years ago I got this:

Owala. It's cool cause it has both a straw and mouth to drink from.

The only downside is that the handle thing that locks it and keeps it from spilling is only wide enough to carry with 2 fingers so it gets annoying when carrying it around Disney for hours.

Apparently they knew people didn't like that so they redesigned it and now the handle looks like this:

so it can be gripped with the whole hand which is much more comfortable. I also got the 40 oz version instead of the 30 and they reshaped it so it now fits in my Venue's cup holder. The 30 oz old version was too wide to fit. And now it has a little lever to make and leak proof.

It was like $45 so that's kinda pricey for a water bottle but if this thread is any indication I'll have it for 5+ years at least.

EDIT: Here is my 5 year old Contigo that's a little worse for wear but still holding strong.
