Oh boy, I found a 1941 map of my home town of Glendale, California. This is B.F. – before freeways. "Canada Blvd." is actually Cañada. It means "ravine" or "gully" in Spanish. Gladding, McBean & Company produced pottery, ceramics and dinnerware. The Glendale plant closed in 1984.

States that it is legal to own a Kangaroo -- no permit required

• West Virginia
• South Carolina
• Wisconsin

States where kangaroo ownership requires a permit:

• Washington
• Idaho
• Nevada
• New Mexico
• Texas
• Illinois
• Ohio
• Pennsylvanian
• New Jersey
• Maine

It is illegal in all other states.

I'm thinking about how many of our 26 letters are unnecessary. The C is not needed. Q is a stupid letter. And we also don't need X. We could make due with 23.
