Maybe it goes without saying, but even in a state where it says it’s illegal to own a kangaroo, a licensed zoo can have them.

“Roux” lives right up the road from me.

I don't have the energy to look into this right now..... But I wonder what other animals are in like the genus or whatever you call it of the kangaroo.

I bet there's some shit in North America related to it but I couldn't even take a guess I don't know. Well I just said that and now I'm going to guess..... What is in the same genus as the kangaroo? I'm thinking possum... Since they're both marsupials.

Oh here's a fun fact. This is something I know for sure which is kind of cool.... You all know you almost never get rabies from a possum? Because you can usually only get rabies from placental mammals... Technically it's possible to get rabies from a possum, but they have a lower body temp so rabies very rarely can survive in them or be transferred.

Also, possums are fucking disgusting. They're like giant rats. If you take a rat and make it worse (which is hard to do) you got a possum.

I was riding down the road one day, someone hit a possum. The road was his end and that was that road so they say.

No. I wish the map could be overlaid with the towns/cities. Because in some places, you have to be a top act to be #1, but in others, any artist might be the only artist.

Not surprisingly, the above "terrible maps" post just showed up on my Facebook feed. And many of the comments mention that bands like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath have been substituted with newer bands that no one has heard of. So it really is a terrible map.

Thing is though, emerging from Birmingham- Duran Duran did sell more albums than Black Sabbath.
And apparently Elton John (from London) sold more than Zeppelin.

In this case it's more about best selling than biggest legend in Rock. Same reason Taylor Swift has demolished records held by long established artists like the Beatles and Michael Jackson here in the states.

Right, it’s really about best selling FROM each county. And the internet seems to think they took some liberties with some people being born in one place but grew up in another. That kind of thing.

Marillion, led by Derek "Fish" Dick – please don't ask me to explain his name – is a neo-progressive rock quintet from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. They took their name from Quenta Silmarillion ("Tales of the Silmaris"), a J.R.R. Tolkien story. Marillion has had 23 top-40 hits in the UK. Kayleigh, their only song to make the Billboard Hot 100, reached #74 on the chart for the week ending October 20, 1985. The song got to #14 on the mainstream rock chart.

And here is the origin of the title:

I'm surprised NH is as low at 20 (5th of the 6 New England states).

I'm surprised MA is is 2nd of the 6 New England states (I'd have thought 5th).

I'm not surprised that RI is the lowest ranking New England state.
