Torn was written by Ednaswap (Anne Preven, Scott Cutler, Phil Thornalley) but Lis Sørensen was the first to record it, in 1993. Ednaswap finally recorded their own version in 1995.
Kenny Nolan co-wrote LaBelle's Lady Marmalade, Jim Gilstrap's Swing Your Daddy, Frankie Valli's My Eyes Adored You and Disco Tex & The Sex-O-Lettes' Get Dancin'. Nolan had a #3 hit in early 1977 with I Like Dreamin' (which he also wrote). His follow-up, Love's Grown Deep (which he also wrote), reached #20. Is he a one-hit wonder? I'm trying to decide.
