I'm beginning to like that song again.
I'd prefer to see a sorority from the University of Alabama have a pillow fight in their underwear.

Looks like you still hate them. You mentioned them before ...Might as well bring this back too.
I really liked Red Hot Chili Peppers in their heyday. They're a rocking band, with several really talented musicians. But 2 things have turned them into channel changers for me:
1) Mrs. Scotch can't stand them. She really dislikes Anthony Kiedis' voice and overall style.
2) All those "Frank FM" classic alternative radio stations ruined them for me. They played them multiple times per hour.
There's a local radio station that (like most of them) fired the DJ's and went on autoprogram. It's now mostly a grunge/ teen angst music station, but they literally play Red Hot Chili Peppers and Sublime a minimum of every hour. I can no longer listen to either band on any station.
Haha, yes, good job finding my old post. I mainly reposted because I wanted to update both threads; the bands going from hate-to-like, and the bands going from like-to-hate.Looks like you still hate them. You mentioned them before ...
I was going back to see if I had weighed in so as not to repeat myself and your post caught my eye.Haha, yes, good job finding my old post. I mainly reposted because I wanted to update both threads; the bands going from hate-to-like, and the bands going from like-to-hate.
SameOoh, Ooh! I got one!
Eric Clapton.
Mrs. Scotch and I both love the Life with John Mayer channel, and he still plays Clapton, because he's a guitar guy. That's a channel changer for the Mrs., whereas I tend to just tune it out. But if I'm looking through the channels for something to listen to, I won't pick any that are playing him.
I may be repeating myself too here, but I discovered them summer 1989 when Steven Tyler hosted an MTV show called Hard 30. He played their 1987 song "Fight Like A Brave" and I was an instant huge fan. Saw them live at UNH in 1990.I really liked Red Hot Chili Peppers in their heyday.
