Hunter had 15 top-40 country hits in Canada, 1967-89. His remake of Al Martino's Mary In The Morning was number one for two weeks in December 1967. Among his other hits are Born To Be A Gypsy, Cup Of Disgrace, Wait For Sunday, Half A World Away and The Battle Of The Little Bighorn. His weekly country music series The Tommy Hunter Show aired on CBC from 1965 to 1992.

Singer-guitarist David Harman formed Dave Dee & The Bostons in 1961 in Wiltshire, England. They became Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich in 1964. They had 14 top-40 hits and eight top-tens in the UK, 1965-70, including Zabadak (which reached #52 on the Billboard Hot 100 in January 1968 and was their biggest U.S. hit), Hideaway, Save Me, Bend It, Okay, Hold Tight, Last Night In Soho and the number one The Legend Of Xanadu.
