This year's Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony takes place June 11 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Among the honorees are 80-year-old Graham Lyle, 78-year-old Kenny Loggins, 76-year-old Gene Simmons, 74-year-old Paul Stanley, 51-year-old Alanis Morissette.....and this 36-year-old:

Putting Taylor on the list makes sense. I didn't know this organization existed until your post 98 and I bet you only posted about it cause the age difference with Taylor is interesting.

The publicists and PR people for this HoF really earned their money this year.

Taylor is the second-youngest inductee. The youngest was Stevie Wonder at age 32. With Henry Cosby and Sylvia Moy he co-wrote his 1960s hits Uptight, I Was Made To Love Her, I'm Wondering, My Cherie Amour and Shoo-Be-Doo-Be-Doo-Da-Day – and solo he wrote his 1970s hits Superstition, Higher Ground, Living For The City, Sir Duke, Send One Your Love, Boogie On Reggae Woman, As, Another Star, You Haven't Done Nothin and You Are The Sunshine Of My Life and his early 1980s hits That Girl, Do I Do, Lately, Ribbon In The Sky, Outside My Window, Master Blaster (Jammin') and I Ain't Gonna Stand For It. Stevie was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame on March 7 1983. Since then he's written Love Light In Flight, I Just Called To Say I Love You, Skeletons, Land Of La La, You Will Know, Overjoyed, For Your Love, Go Home, Part Time Lover and several other hits.

As of this week, Taylor Swift has had 276 Hot 100 hits (second only to Drake's 362), 177 top-40 hits, 69 top-ten hits, 41 top-five hits and 13 number ones. sadchild, you might like the video of ...Ready For It?. (You might also like the song.) The "cyborg" Taylor appears to be nude but is actually wearing a bodysuit. The song debuted at #4 on the September 23 2017 Hot 100. That is as high as it got. It was on the chart for 20 weeks.

I've heard a 30 second clip of this one 50+ times playing WhatsAMusic (the 'name that tune' game I love). Don't like the song. And I don't think Taylor is very attractive. She wouldn't even make my top 1000 of beautiful famous women.

He's rich, and she doesn't need to smell his leathery cigarette. . . . . . everything for very long.

Or maybe she'll have to deal with it for another 60 or 70 years....... who can tell.
