Concerts you have attended?

I am aggravated when I have to smell them.

I understand that. There are a multitude of things I don't like contending with at arena concerts: overwhelming cigarette smoke, amplification systems cranked up way too high, bad acoustics, loud people, obstructed views, uncomfortable seats, lines everywhere, moving about, etc. But that's the way it's always been. Since you're a frequent concert goer, I figured you would have resigned to this years ago.

With the general smoking bans indoors which are now going on 30 years, the smoking of any sort in a concert hasn't been too big an issue. It does happen occasionally and when it does I go on a rant about it.

Seems like an odd opener. Great song but I wouldn't have expected it as first song

And given I don't know about 1/2 the songs it was challenging to follow along.

100% agree on this. Whether or not everyone's done it since the beginning of time is irrelevant to me, I'd like to see 'em thrown out of the venue.

I was directly familiar with 8. I think I have heard another 3 from way back when I listened to the "Appetite For Destruction" CD in its entirety. There was not a song on this playlist which I did not enjoy even if unfamiliar.

I think the studio recording of their new songs "Absurd" and "Perhaps" are horrible. Hopefully they improved them for live performances.

I attended Night 1 of the Metallica concert. I was suppose to attend night 2, but James Hatfield postpone night due to he catching covid. He rescheduled night 2 when I am in Vegas. I gave my tickets to my brother-in-law and sister where they can attend it.

Metallica mainly played new songs from there new album 72 seasons. Really Pantera stole the show, with Zak Wylde being part of band. They did a great tribute to Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul.

Mammoth WVH were good. The lead singer Wolfgang Van Halen the son of Eddie Van Halen.

Found out that Duran Duran is touring with Chic. Opener is Bautista who my son has heard of but I am not familiar.

I saw them in Windsor back in 2011. I don't think there was an opener.
They were good, but I don't think Simon has ever been a strong live singer.

The concert was a part of TIFF. Promoting a new movie "Hate To Love: Nickelback" which no doubt documents the universal hatred most sane people have toward this band.
