Concerts you have attended?

Before I got tickets to see Taylor Swift, I heard it was a three and a half hour show, and that women were going to the show wearing adult diapers, so they didn’t miss a song.

When I got to US Bank Stadium, I was amazed at how outnumbered I was. It must have been 100:1. During the show, there was a line for the women’s restroom. Some women took it upon themselves to use the men’s restroom, anyway.

When I went to see Iron Maiden in October 2022, it was the complete opposite. It was mostly men outnumbering women, so there was a line to use the men’s restrooms.

Local radio station putting on a concert "Boomstock". 5 bands. Tickets $9.73 (+fees) which matches their frequency. I grabbed then. Bands: BTO, Sweet, Chilliwack, The Box, UB40. Like all the bands (UB40 I like their 1 song). I think it's outdoor arena. Never been there before: The Bowl @ Sobeys Stadium. It's opening tonight with Barenaked Ladies. It's on the far side of the city.

Upcoming Shows:

2024:
  • REO Speedwagon with Train [07/20 Budweiser Stage, Toronto, ON]
  • Boomstock (BTO, Sweet, Chilliwack, The Box, UB40) [08/24 Sobeys Stadium, Toronto, ON]
  • twentyone pilots [09/27 Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, ON]
  • Creed [11/27 Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, ON]

Different vibe, but one time when we saw James Taylor with the BSO at Tanglewood, they had this one intermission, and the line for the women's room backed up pretty quickly. So they just started going to the men's room.

I went to see something not long ago (can't recall what), but it was a vintage act, and the audience was vintage too. During the intermission, all the guys with prostate problems were backing-up the men's room.

Edit: It was the Jethro Tull 8 decades tour.

Did that once.
Was at a bar after an art-walk thing. Went into the bathroom to wash hands before eating. I was drying my hands and the door opened and a woman was about to walk in and stopped and said "Um.....why are you in the ladies room????" I was kind of surprised, looked around and said, "Oh shit! Because I'm an idiot! Sorry!"
If I would have had to pee, I probably would have noticed it was the ladies room.

I have done it accidentally. Usually because stores are not consistent with each other whether the mens is on the left and right and I by habit go to the one I am used to and forget I am in a different store. Usually the lack of urinals shocks me into realizing my mistake and i back out quickly.

Fortunately I didn't get that far.

If I would have been peeing in the garbage can, I'd have probably gotten arrested.

I mighta posted about this earlier, but I saw a play in Maine (I forget where) and the bathroom was for everyone. It was a weird feeling following a woman into the bathroom and sitting in the stall next to her.

Just bought Goose tickets for October 29th in Miami. Should be a fun show. The more I listen to these guys play shows the more I love them. I know I have posts in this music forum from a few years ago about how they were the next big thing on the jam band scene and they have blown up over the past 2 years or so. Like Phish was the new Dead, Goose is the new Phish. They've played with both the Dead and Trey and plenty of other titans of the scene, they are clearly the new big thing.
