Three hours, no opener, full production, live storytelling and 20+ dancers… for me, that definitely meets the standard for a real show. I guess we just have different definitions.

NIN is coming to Phoenix next month, and I was almost tempted to buy tickets. I already have enough concerts lined up this year.

I was being sarcastic! Poorly, obviously. It looks like she pulled out all the stops.

I attended my second concert of the year last night. I arrived later than planned because of my new job. By the time I got there, Bret Michaels was finishing his set, and his last song was “Every Rose Has Its Thorn.”

Seeing hometown boy Dierks Bentley again was great. Brothers Osborne sounded amazing as well. I had mainly wanted to see Luke Bryan for years, and he did not disappoint he sounded fantastic, and I loved his performance. Still, I thought Dierks may have stolen the show and sounded even better.

Bought these 2 over the past couple days:

I've never been to this place. It in Ft Laud this year instead of Miami so way better!!! Only 12 miles from me instead of the 32 the last time I saw them at the Jackie Gleason Theater in 2024.

$130 for both isn't so bad. And it's a small place, 3,400 capacity. These guys are really working on getting there. They did like 100 shows last year. They also played MSG by themselves last year and sold it out. It was their first solo arena. But I guess when they do random April Tues and Wed Ft Laud shows they are still a mostly a theater band.

Anyway, It'll be 6+ hours over 2 days where I can literally forget about shit and have real fun.

I may be adding another concert to my lineup soon again. I originally was hoping Shinedown was coming back to Phoenix. They are preforming down in Tucson and I haven't decided if I want to buy them and spend the night there.

I'm hoping my Sweetie will take me to "The Happy Together Tour" again at the end of summer in the Wisconsin Dells. I had so much last year watching Susan Cowsill and the rest. With the passing away of Mark Volman and no more Turtles performing, I thought they might end the Tour but it is coming back bigger than ever. The Association, The Fortunes and The Troggs will be new this year, so we have to go back. I hope The Troggs perform "A Girl Like You"

Line Up for 2026
The Cowsills, The Fortunes, The Vogues, Gary Puckett, The Troggs, The Association and Ron Dante ("Sugar Sugar" and acting Turtle)

Last year, we saw
The Cowsills, The Vogues, Gary Puckett, Little Anthony, Jay and the Americans and Ron Dante (Mark Volman not present), All group finale
