Concerts you have attended?

KISS is a joke band right?

Some people seem to love them though. I always thought they were along the lines of like a Vanilla Ice.
They used to be legit. They were like Alice Cooper and glam rock rolled together. It's like musical theater with a Bronx accent.

So Elton John announced a third Toronto show to is "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" tour. It's at the Rogers Centre which isn't great. The first concert's cheapest available seats were $280/ticket. So for shits & giggles, I checked out the prices of this convert. I saw some tickets for under $100. Now they are in the nosebleed seats but for under $100 on pre-sale. Once I remembered to add my American Express card to my ticketmaster account, purchasing was smooth sailing. And we are going to see Elton John!

Man, I hope Cheap Trick makes it to KC on their tour. I was supposed to see Rick's family off-shoot band a couple weeks ago, but the show got kiboshed.

Well the Eagles are heading to the playoffs, I have a beautiful new lady interest in my life, it's the holidays...why not catch another couch tour show? Just spent $25 to watch the Phish webcast tonight. It's night 2 of their MSG new year's run.

This will be a good time.

Couch Tour is back!!!

I know this isn't really attending the show but I like having the option to pay for the livestream. This is the first Phish tour since Covid of course and I'm delighted to have them back. They have already played a few shows on this tour but this is the first one I'll be watching live. They are in Nashville tonight and tomorrow and I bought both streams. It winds up being about $21.50 each. IDK, that's kinda pricy but to me it's worth the 3 hours of entertainment they will provide.

They start at 8...Less than an hour to go!

Also this will be the first time I watch them live on my giant TV so that will be nice. Time to fire up a fresh new candle for the event!

:band:

Stream is live!!!

Cat, candle, Disney stuff, Eagles stuff, I'm wearing my new Monster and Phish is about to be live on the big screen. This will be a good Tuesday night.

Throw in a manatee and everything I love in the world would all be in the same place at the same time.

First set was fire!!!

a couple luls but trey and mike hit it on real hard on base and dirty guitar.

Second set is always the jam set...cant wait.

I always thought cats liked phish.

(Tuna)Phish.

Really though...for some reason she doesn't like Albacore. I always save a bit of tuna in the can to give her and when it's Albacore she will eat it but she has to think about it first. And she looks at me pretty much saying, "Hey asshole, if you're gonna give me tuna give me the stuff I like...not this trash I will reluctantly choke down".

We live in a pretty good place when our cats can be picky about their tuna.

These 4 guys just make me so happy. Their music speaks to me. Sometimes they try to get deep but usually they are simply fun and rock the fuck out.

This is a screenshot from tonight's Possum. I love how Trey doesn't do lead vocals for every song. This is a classic Mike tune.

It's silly fun. The music is just as playful as the lyrics. 4 guys having fun. It rubs off on the rest of us.

"I was riding down the road one day, some one hit a possum...Oh possum, your end is the road!"

I mentioned in another thread I'm trying to be a better man so naturally this song came to mind:

I saw Pearl Jam in like 2003 at the Jordan Center at Penn State. They played 3 sets which was super cool and did all the hits. Of that genre Nirvana is #1...sadly I never got to see Kurt...and Pearl Jam is #2. I'm glad I can say I saw Eddie live.

It looks like James Taylor is postponed. No reschedule date. Was hoping it was actually a go.
