Future Arena & Stadium Venues

I'm surprised there wasn't a topic about potential new arenas and stadiums being built. Either way, I usually like following news about future arenas and stadiums under construction or in the planning stages. As well enjoy seeing older venues get renovated.

Currently, three new NFL stadiums are under construction, four have been proposed, and one is undergoing renovations.

The Buffalo Bills recently opened the new Highmark Stadium.

The Tennessee Titans are currently building the new Nissan Stadium.

The Cleveland Browns broke ground on the new New Huntington Bank Field.

The Carolina Panthers going to renovate Bank of America Stadium for $1.3 Billion dollars.

Currently the Calgary Flames are getting a new arena. Scotia Place

The Dallas Stars, Philadelphia Flyers and Ottawa Senators are in discuss for new arenas.

Currently the Oklahoma City Thunder are getting a new arena. Continental Coliseum

The Dallas Mavericks, Philadelphia 76ers and San Antonio Spurs are in discuss for new arenas.

Las Vegas Athletics New Las Vegas Stadium

The Chicago White Sox, Kansas City Royals and Tampa Bay Rays are in discuss for new stadiums.

Wow, that's a lot of arenas. You'd think that just from the laws of probability, Hectic is likely working on 1 or 2 of them.

My Royals are a little farther along than "discussions"...they've teamed up with Hallmark to turn the old Hallmark HQ location into a ballpark. In the same spot, there's Crown Center - a Hallmark created shopping center. The whole shmear is supposed to be renovated with the ballpark being an all-new construction, natch.

The area in question is literally within walking distance of my place ( bit of a shlep - several blocks, but not too bad ). More likely that I would make the block & a half walk to the streetcar stop & ride that to the ballpark.

I saw that before.
Why the hell did they do that?

Not a Bills fan, but it's kind of interesting that they gave a nod to the Bills fans' tradition by incorporating it into the new stadium.

Then again, as that table art came out. Some new parking lot rules as well came out.
