I don't really have any manatee news, but this thread deserves a bump just so I can remind you all that manatees are clearly the greatest wild animal that's ever existed. And if anyone disagrees with me, they're wrong. It's an objective fact.
This is a really cool article about the history of manatees. If sacrificing my privacy means that Google knows me well enough to push articles discussing Manatee fossils then I don't need privacy.

I came here to post something else about manatees but this last post of yours scotch made me chuckle for the second time. So then I had to look for an update about the stolen rainbow manatee from Wilton Manors which is AKA the gay town around here besides Key West......We have an update:

There has been a break in the case of a stolen piece of artwork from Wilton Manors.
I would happily move to Wilton Manors if it meant that I would be surrounded by rainbow Manatee statues all the time.

These are literally about three blocks east of me on the road I live on. I took them all from the gas station next to me while I was filling up today. I've passed by them and noticed them a million times and like smiled. But today I really took the time to let them make me happy. The way they were intended for all North Lauderdale residents.
