I'm back to just having iguanas and raccoons at this property and life is good. These two species chase off the rats. I've learned my lesson. Trying to get rid of the raccoons makes life so much worse. So now I encourage iguanas and raccoons to be on my property at all times.
Also this is how I spend my Saturday night. I used to be cool. I'm not working tomorrow and I have no interest in going anywhere I'm perfectly happy to just hang out at home and feed raccoons.
