this is always a fun topic to me. i was looking around the web yesterday and came across this site:

Richest Rappers, Richest Celebrities, Richest Athletes, Celebrity Homes

i typed in robin quivers and it says she has a net worth of $45 million.

Booey: $15 million

fred eric norris: $16 million

howard: $500 million

now i thought at first putting howie at 500 was high, but then i didnt factor in the 20 some years of work he did befor the sirius deal. if this site is correct, im glad to see fred is worth more than booey. he has been there forever and although not on the air like booey, he does sooooo much.

what do you all think? could this random site be anywhere near the mark? how much would you guess they are worth?

Fred is technically a writer. He doesn't care about having that job title like Jackie did, but he is responsible for a lot of the show's structure. A lot of ideas have come from him. What Fred does in the studio (run commercials, sound effects) is what any board op who barely graduated high school can do.

Keep in mind that that site is probably a bunch of flimsy estimates.

yes the writing is a huge part of what fred does. id love a day where howard or someone told us after every joke, who the jokes author was.

but...

i think that quoted statement is really not giving fred any credit at all. yes, the ad running can easily be taught i assume. however, i think the sound drops are a totally different story. i think fred is an artist with how he seamlessly adds the drops into the show with now pre-prep. maybe anyone could hit a button (try listening to miserable me, they really blow at the drops) but only a fred could add them so well.

Almost anything Howard says that's funny is coming from Benjy or Fred.

Look at this picture for example. Howard's screen has a hand written note that reads..."My penis..."

i always thought they just handed howard a sheet of paper. i didnt know they had some camera type thing they must slid it under and then it shows up for howie.

Believe me man, it ain't me. I saw this on SFN lol.

But it's true. I didn't know even those type of lines by Howard were written by someone. I thought it was off the cuff. Just goes to show when you do your job right nobody knows it. At least that's the case with Benjy and Fred.

yeah, but u forgot to factor in that he got two bonus stock option payments each worth 9 figures for reaching subcriber incentives too. I remember the first one was in the neighborhood of $250 milli.

that I did know. but I have never seen it in a picture. they have mentioned that even when jackie was there, he would hand write jokes, and they had some way that the joke would appear on a screen where howard could read it. I assume benji does a similar thing.
