Sex & Candy - Marcy Playground

Usually if I hear this song while I'm in the car, I stick my head out the window and hope a semi gets it. (Yes it's one of my channel changers!)
I think sadchild feels the same. I remember being intrigued when I first heard it, then it got to be annoying, and I started avoiding it. But I no longer listen to channels that play it much. So I'm OK with it maybe once a season.

What's really great about this channel is you can listen to it today, and it'll be a totally different mix of cool songs. Maybe singer songwriters, 50s and 60s, guitar gods, pop hits, or new wave. There's very little repetition.

I like this version of Sex & Candy by Monica Martin & Scary Pockets. It's from Scary Pockets' album Funk Box, released November 19, 2018.

As mentioned earlier, if you tune in at a different time or day, you may get a whole different playlist. Coming back from Boston yesterday afternoon, we listened as he was decidedly more into adult contemporary, classic rock, and Motown. Of course, there's always other stuff mixed in (he even threw-in a song by Goose). And this time, he included a fair number of his own songs (which I omitted from this list). I'm guessing that sadchild and others may not like as many of these; but for me, it hits-up my desire to hear more variety, and different genres. (I will also refrain from posting any more playlists from this channel)

Happen to hear Diplo has a Techno/Dance Mix show on Friday nights on the channel. Didn't listen to too much but what I heard was pretty interesting. This channel's really pouring on the variety.

While it's difficult to keep posting playlists from the Life with John Mayer channel, I'll just say that this long weekend has been filled with an awesome variety of music, from the '60s up to today's new songs. Here's a slice of the playlist from Saturday, I believe. As I previously mentioned, he goes towards different styles of music on different days. This one is heavily '90s - '00s, with a few older/newer things thrown in.
