Mcu Movies Discussion

I saw that on Twitter and I'm proud that End Game finally passed up Avatar.

Now Disney owns the rights to Avatar, hopefully they don't release back in the theaters to get extra money. It's finally time for Avatar to lose it's reign off the mountain. All it needed was a snap.

Marvel finally some of the films that are coming out in phase 4.

All of you who enjoy Marvel movies should be glad to know you will soon be able to enjoy Marvel podcasts on SiriusXM. Here is today's press release:

Marvel Entertainment, SiriusXM enter major multi-year deal to create original podcasts for SiriusXM and Pandora

SiriusXM and Marvel have announced a multi-year agreement under which Marvel will create a substantial amount of exclusive podcasts for SiriusXM and Pandora. In Marvel's most sweeping podcast deal ever, the venture will include both scripted and unscripted series, themed live events and much more, premiering in 2020. SiriusXM and Pandora will also debut many of Marvel's most popular podcasts before they can be heard anywhere else.

Included in the slate of upcoming programming are four new scripted series, each ten episodes, based around the iconic characters of Wolverine, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Star-Lord, as well as a fifth series in which all four team up; unscripted podcasts that look at Marvel's rich history through a modern-day lens of pop culture; podcasts dedicated to popular Marvel franchises; and regular talk shows, including an interview show that will feature famous celebrity guests.

SiriusXM subscribers with streaming access will be able to listen to all Marvel podcasts at home on a wide variety of connected devices including smart TVs, Amazon Alexa devices, Apple TV, Sony PlayStation, Roku, Sonos speakers and more. Go to www.SiriusXM.com/AtHome to learn more. Pandora users on both free ad-supported and Premium subscription tiers of service will also be able to hear all Marvel podcasts on the Pandora mobile app for iOS and Android.

Hopefully they don't have Black Bolt on the channel. Once he speaks he will blow out your eardrums or speakers.

What the hell is a Namor?

Aquaman is a ripoff of Namor.

Namor was introduced first in 1939 as Aquaman came out in 1941, but Aquaman is more popular.

I read some reports that Disney doesn't plan to make a Namor film. Since it would be too similar to Aquaman. They plan on introducing him either in the next Doctor Strange or Black Panther film.

Not movies but I started watching Moon Knight on Disney+ and after the first 2 episodes (the only ones aired so far) I'm enjoying it. Then I moved on to WandaVision and I'm also 2 episodes deep and liking it too.

Much like with Star Wars, it seems that the TV shows involving these franchises are much more enjoyable than the recent movies.

You need to watch all the TV shows. Each show has a surprise guest, which are linked to the movies.

These are my favorite shows in order:

WanaVision
Loki
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier
* Moon Knight
What If
Hawkeye

There's 4 more Moon Knight episodes and I heard the show will probably get darker. Plus rumors they will introduce "Werewolf By Night" in the seres. I do know that Oscar Isaac/Moon Knight character will crossover into the MCU.

Plus they will introduce the Midnight Sons group which includes.

Moon Knight
Werewolf By Night
Johnny Blaze
Morphis
Blade

and many more.

Hey! Parts of WandaVision were filmed on the same set where Gilmore Girls was filmed! That gazebo sticks out so I looked it up and was right!

And yes, I'm a Gilmore Girls fan. Fuck you. :roflmao:

Yep proof that you are gay and I have never watched Gilmore Girls.

I have a clear history here of being way more into DC (aka Batman) than anything Marvel but I do wind up watching most of the Marvel flicks.

Of them I think Iron Man 1 and Guardians of the Galaxy 1 are my favorites.

Also a new Guardians coaster is about to open in epcot after too many years (thanks to Covid and Bob asshole Chapek) of construction and it's got the Disney touch of being fully immersive so I'd thought I brush up on my Guardians movies before I go hit that ride.

We can get into a whole discussion about how Marvel and Disney IP in general doesn't belong in epcot because it's supposed to be a park that makes learning stuff and geography actually fun with original experiences just created for the park but whatever. It's still shaping up to be an amazing ride.

I'd be interested in Wolf's take on this even though I guess it's not the cinematic universe since it's a TV show but all those have kinda blended together these days with the like of Wanda Vision and others:

I enjoyed the series when it was on Netflix. Since it was before Disney+ existed I assume Disney made it and sold the broadcast rights to Netflix? Anyway, you know me, I like darker takes of superheroes and this was def a darker turn for Marvel. I's like the old cast to reprise their roles. I guess we'll have to wait and see if that happens.
