My 76ers blow 20+ point lead to the Warriors (without Curry and Butler) but comeback in the final seconds to win 99-98. Edgecombe with an offensive rebound put in then Maxey blocks a layup on the other end in the final .9 second.

Whew!

This is just my personal opinion, but I think the NBA Cup is a waste of time. Having a tournament during the regular season doesn’t make sense to me. I’d rather have it take place during the offseason. It also feels like the NBA copied soccer, which has several tournaments within a single season. That’s one reason soccer ends up being almost a year-round sport.

My 76ers barely squeezed by the 12-36 Kings last night. Will take the win. Teams like the Kings you should be winning big by the start of the 4th quarter so you can rest the starters. A win is a win though and Embiid is back!! Does the NBA have a comeback player of the year award. (Too lazy to google right now)

No but maybe Most Improved Award. I'm sure this would not apply to the NBA but my coach from 8th grade use to imply the most improved award should go to someone who improves enough to help the team win. (or even win championships)

Why do I continue to torture myself by being a Clippers fan? Tonight they led the Spurs by 20 points at the half – and wound up losing 116-112. :(

When Griffin was with the Clippers, they made the playoffs six years in a row (2012-17). The Clippers, going back to 1970 when they were the Buffalo Braves, have made the playoffs 19 times. Only once did they make it past the second round. That was in 2021 when they made it to the Western Conference finals – which they lost to Phoenix, four games to two.

Wilt Chamberlain holds the record for most points scored in an NBA game: 100 on March 2 1962 as the Warriors beat the Knicks 169-147. Until today, Kobe Bryant was second on the list, scoring 81 points on January 22 2006 as the Lakers beat the Raptors 122-104.

As of today, Edrice "Bam" Adebayo is in second place. He scored 83 points as the Heat beat the Wizards 150-129. He also set a record by making 36 free throws.
