Don't yell or hit.
Today I heard Here Comes The Night by Frank Sinatra and the Harry James Orchestra. It was Sinatra's third single, released in October 1939, and it wasn't on the list – until now. Harry James played trumpet with Ben Pollack's Orchestra in 1935-36 and Benny Goodman's orchestra in 1937-38 and formed his own orchestra in January 1939. None of Sinatra's recordings with Harry James became hits. In January 1940, Sinatra became a featured vocalist with the Tommy Dorsey orchestra. In 1943, after Sinatra had several hits, Columbia re-released his 1939 recording of All Or Nothing At All and it went to number one!
