And yes, I'm compiling the playlist. I want to get at least five hundred songs before I post it. Be patient. I notice Alt2K plays a lot of pop hits that made the Hot 100 but not the alternative rock chart.
 
I already have Alt2K set as preset while back ago. I normally keep all the channels in numerical order. Now, I group them by category of music.

Arlo Parks, The Jungle, The Marias. This sounds like a good channel for me.

Jerry Lee Lewis will drink wine. Or did. Here is his Drinking Wine Spo-Dee-O-Dee, which reached #20 on the country chart and #41 on the Hot 100 in June 1973. The first time Jay Lawrence, afternoon DJ on Los Angeles country station KLAC, played this, he exclaimed, "Can you imagine how much electricity they used for this session?" I wish I would have read your post sooner. I've been listening to this channel all afternoon. Then they played The Jungle "Back on 74". Pure Class
I've been a big fan of "smooth sophisticated sounds" since the late eighties following groups like Manhattan Transfer, Nicola Conte, Koop, WorkShy and especially Swing Out Sister. I'll really make this one a regular visit.

If you look below that post, I listed the songs that I hear on the channels I listen to. Of course, this was a year ago.

I'll add that to the list of things I'll never tune to.
 
Morgan was the punchline of a joke last night while recording with Hello Rangoon. We talked about kids rebelling against whatever their parents like. If the parents like crooners, the kids crank rock and roll. If the parents like rock, they crank hip hop. The other half of Rangoon, Jay, said his 12 year old daughter likes the same music he does, and we joked that if she ever rebels, it'll be with modern country like Morgan Wallen.
 
From the first time I heard Green Day, I've considered them posers and rip-off artists. My opinion hasn't changed over the 30+ years I've had to listen to them.
 
So...it seems to me that, other than playing Welcome To Paradise at 3am ET, it's really just Faction Punk with a new name/logo.

It definitely plays more non-Green Day than Green Day.

Faction Punk was originally known as Faction (punk, hip hop and hard rock when Jason Ellis and Lance Armstrong weren't on) whereas Faction Talk was originally known as High Voltage.
