SiriusXM merging with iHeartMedia?!

I like SiriusXM as it is. What is in it for SiriusXM? Why do they need iHeartMedia? Team SiriusXM just won the Indy 500.
I don't think iHeart even had a team entered.

It'd be getting the failing FM stations (and maybe some shows "on demand") back on SiriusXM in all their censored glory.

Remember when some of the Clear Channel stations were on XM? It'd be like that.

I do remember now. I had one of the pop channels as a preset. the one from Los Angeles and now I can't remember the call letters.
And I think I started a post on one of the other channels

I'll never understand why people listened to them when they were paying for commercial-free (and probably uncensored) pop channels. It'd be like watching a movie on ABC or NBC when it's on Netflix at the same time. When Jaws was on NBC recently, I opted to watch it on Peacock.

I thought there might be one or two left, but they all appear to be gone. Oddly enough, SiriusXM Hits 1 seems to be on two channels.



I thought there were more, but maybe not.
