I saw that a couple days ago. The both obviously knew it was art by how they acted even before the dude broke it but this is also somewhat on the museum. I know it was on a pedestal but if you're putting important art out like that you could at least put a freaking velvet rope around it. Stick against a wall in a big room like that and my first thought is oh I want to sit on that even though I know it's art. I wouldn't actually do it but I would want to.

I do see a paper on the chair, who knows what it says. Clearly those asses whose brain were in their asses. If they would been smart enough, they wouldn't have destroyed it. Hopefully they will pay for the damage.

I thought the same thing. I happened by a contemporary art gallery Sunday and had a look. One of their exhibits was a circular thing. They had a volunteer posted to make sure nobody sat on it. They should have had that or a velvet rope.
