Do you guys think this is real? I bought the football from NFLshop.com and it has the authentication hologram on it that matches up when you scan the QR code so I know for a fact that it's real. If NFLshop.com is selling fakes than nobody in the world sells anything that's real anymore.
But this shit's from eBay.
Pam is a drummer and her favorite band is dmb so I thought it would be cool to get her a signed drum head from Carter Beauford, dmb's drummer.
This drum head has the Beckett authentication hologram and QR code sticker, which according to Google is legit. I've looked at a million signatures of this dude and this one looks very similar to all of them. They all have slight differences but you know people just have him sign shit at the end of shows. The signature is never going to be exactly the same every time. And the seller of this item has 99.8% positive and all this dude sells is signed shit. So either he's got a great racket going on or this is a real business.
But I don't want to spend this kind of money if I'm just going to hand her a fake and eBay scares me in terms of legitimacy so I don't know.......What do you guys think?

If you check that link you'll see it's sold to this big dummy. He gave me an offer for 350 instead of 4 so I jumped on it.
Without exaggeration, I probably spent in between 4 hours researching this specific listing. That certainly doesn't prove it's real, but I am as content as I can possibly be with buying this signed piece of memorabilia from eBay in terms of believing his authenticity.
I wish they just sold this shit on their website. That would make it so much easier. The fucking hassle of looking at this specific signature 10,000 times and looking at every single listing for every single drum head and not even his drum heads alone.....Comparing the drum head signature to the drumstick and the glove signature and his signatures on albums and then looking all into fucking boa as a company and how hard or easy, it is to duplicate their holographic QR COA sticker codes.
At one point I was copying the picture of the signature on two different pieces and overlaid one on top of the other to see just exactly how close they were. I really didn't my best here cuz otherwise I just gave this fucking asshole 350 bucks a fake ass signature and if that's what I just did I guess he deserves it because he's committed to his fucking fraud..

I'm getting this to go with it. This is the show poster like the good one and I believe it said I don't care if it's signed or not. It's like shiny foil. It's a cool poster of the show I went to with Pam in 2024.
These two DMB things along with all the other more normal Christmas gifts should be a pretty cool way for me to be creative like she told me to be and also have more traditional stuff to give her.
I got her a bunch of fancy lady sprays or whatever that she likes from some company called Salt and Stone and I got her weights that she wanted cuz she works out with weights all the time which is amazing. She said she wanted 40 lb dumbbells. Good God, those things are heavy. One of those fuckers is like 31% of her entire body weight. So God knows how she's lifting those things. But hey more power to her cuz she's hot as fuck and super skinny and that's awesome.
Somehow she likes big old fat me. Either she has some sort of undiagnosed serious mental problem or I really don't understand how women work.
