Why wouldn't people just come here? It's where Sirius went to, and where the SiriusXM merged forums got created.

Hey, I'm here. Of course I can't speak for anyone else. I know a few people don't even like me speaking for myself. As for JHDK often sticking his finger in his belly button, I have to ask why. No matter how many times he presses that button, it doesn't do anything.

My little Walmart candle burnt for 22.5 hours. Pretty good for $0.96. Last time I timed one it burnt for 19 hours so I got and extra 3.5 hours out of this one. I think it's because I didn't have my ceiling fan on this time blowing the flame around. Let's see how long this next one will last.

I guess I don't know how candles work. This last one which was exactly the same as the previous one in size and shape and scent lasted 26 hours 5 minutes. And the conditions were exactly the same....no fan and I blew them both out only 1 time when I went to bed...so who knows? I am aware this is stupid but I get a kick out of starting my Protrek stopwatch every time I light a new one. I've now switched over to apple pie scent. What wild and crazy candle action awaits me this time? Only time will tell.

They are $0.96 candles........ I don't think that they are made under strict laboratory conditions.
You're lucky if they aren't made out of asbestos and meat packing plant byproducts.

If they are $0.96, stink nicely, and don't make you pass out and whiz your pants, you're doing pretty good.

Here, for your amazement and amusement, is a collection of Groucho Marx's best jokes and ad-libs from his 1950-61 game show You Bet Your Life. I'm guessing the majority of these are outtakes and were never broadcast. "So now you have ten kids?"

So on the news last night, they were saying that people are getting EIP cards from some bank, and they're part of the stimulus from the treasury department. Comes in a plain envelope, people think they're a scam and throw it away, but they're real.

We got one today. A while back, I was of the understanding that we weren't getting anything, because our AGI was above the cutoff. I wasn't expecting anything, ever, but we got the whole thing, minus a couple hundred dollars. Weird.

We got our paper checks last week.
I heard about people throwing away the cards. I can picture myself doing that.
It seems like it would be more expensive and take longer to send out debit cards instead of checks.

Yea but debit cards take a cut if you don't use the correct ATM. Checks don't.

Major candle news!

I've been lying to you all and I sincerely apologize.

Went to Walmart today to get some groceries and picked up a few more candles as always. Turns out these candles are NOT $0.96. They are actually $0.94/each! Bigtime savings. Here I was going on and on about these $0.96 candles while I was actually paying far less for them all along.

I hope you all can find it in your hearts to forgive me.

Side note: See that little lizard thing? My mom bought that at the gift shop at the exit of Pirates of the Caribbean when I was like 8 on a trip to Disney World. That thing stayed in their bedroom for years. It was with them when they moved to FL and my dad even kept it displayed on a shelf once my mom was gone. Now it lives on in front of my TV where I can't help but see it everyday. It still has the price sticker on it. It was $7.95. Stupid thing would probably cost like $30 now. Who needs a 401k when you have a wooden segmented lizard constantly appriciating in value?
