Listening to 6/5/2003. When I was listening to 6/2, they brought in a guy named Jamie who works for the show. He's only made it to second base and that was "a long time ago" so they're taking him to Scores with them later in the week. Now they're talking to him again (6/5) and it just hit me - this is JD Harmeyer.

Howard said they had this young kid Jamie (JD Harmeyer) sitting in today because he's never gotten laid. He works for them and watches TV all day long. Jamie said the farthest he's gotten is second base.

Howard talked to Jamie a bit about the girls he's made out with and felt up. He said he hasn't had one since 1998 so he really could use this party. They found out that Jamie doesn't like to drink which surprised Howard. Howard and Artie couldn't believe that and said he's got to take him out drinking. Lonnie told Howard what they're going to do for Jamie when he's at the party. They're going to surround him with hot chicks until his head explodes

Yup. He's had a hell of a show arc. It's amazing to go back and remind oneself that JD was once Jamie the Intern.

His original job, IIRC, was to go in really crazy early and pull clips from TV shows that Howard might have played on the air.

The way Mark put (JD Harmeyer) in parentheses seems like he went back and edited. Obviously nobody had any idea back in 2003.

9/14. The promo also mentioned that staffers have been seen in prayer circles chanting "Hey now!"

There was no mention of the "one show per week" stuff.

Listening to the 6/6/2003 show and Howard took a call from a guy named Mike who exemplifies everything I envision the (stereo)typical hardcore Doors fan to be. He's in his early 30s, unemployed, single, drinks all day, and he's talking about how 15 year old high school girls are hot with big boobs (and implants). Fits right in with Jim Morrison's 'poetry' about showing him the way to the next "little girl" and how he's gonna go downtown and have himself a beer. And he's insisting Jim Morrison is still alive. Howard's saying (again) about how much he hates the Doors and the guy just keeps saying "Aw c'mon Howard!"


And yeah yeah I know (stereo)typical Cure fans are depressed black-lipstick-wearing freaks etc....
