The four hundred plus "danger / clearance / max height" signs evidently aren't enough warning.

Even those low hanging CARS ONLY signs that HIT YOUR TRUCK IF IT'S TOO TALL ain't enough warning ... for some.

It's an annual tradition that on "move-in day", some kid from East Bumfuck, Kansas (where they don't have overpasses), who got a scholarship to BU, won't pay attention to any of those signs. Makes you wonder how well he'll do in class.
 
There is a youtube channel of a collection of trucks hitting the same bridge taken from a camera they have on the bridge. Pretty funny. Too bad this one does not have the actual incident on film.

Yes, I've seen that. If I remember right it's coming into Boston from the south shore. There's always a new stream of idiots who don't have a clue.
 
The hanging warning sign needs to be 4" lower than the bridge, and it needs to be a really freaking heavy steel pipe that scrapes the top of the trucks with a big thud.
