Week of 10/19: Live!

[Kryptonite]

Howard Stern was live today on SiriusXM Howard 100, the SiriusXM app and...IN THE STUDIO!

Of course Gary's cough and Sal being sick both put Howard into a tailspin and that was before the problems with his headphones.

They talked some Cocktober stuff, Richard and JD did some Halloween stuff and...WE HAVE A GUEST! Sacha Baron Cohen stopped by the show and did over an hour.

Tuesday brings us Sternthology.
Wednesday is Wrap-up Wednesday.
The rest of the week and weekend will bring us old stuff mixed in with segments from Monday.

The Sacha Baron Cohen interview will probably be featured heavily when HBO Max has the video of the show on Thursday.

Of course Gary's cough

I like how Fred always plays the "Gary cough" sound drop, whenever Gary speaks (when he doesn't have a cough).

Indeed.

Even though Fred doesn't have as big of a role these days since he doesn't do impressions, he still has a key role.

At one point, it was also his job to keep the show on schedule with commercials. During the FM days, he was in constant communication with other people to know how much time before Howard had to do a live commercial or when they'd come out of break.

Now since I listen on the app, it's hard to tell when the commercials are. It's too easy to listen on demand.

He does the Ronnie puppet, perhaps others.
