Howard Stern returns live to SiriusXM Howard 100 on Monday 9/14. If the rumor is true, there'll be a condensed video version of the show later that week on HBO Max.

Howard 101 becomes Radio Andy at 3AM ET Tuesday. No more Howard 101 which stinks because it was another option in the car and sometimes they'd play some really deep stuff. Oh well. It seems HBO Baba Booey's chompers (Max!) is the final frontier.
 
They played the bit where Will announced his son being born...and he didn't do it "ON FUCKIN TWITTER!"

With that said, here's the weird part that very few people will notice: Howard asked what they did regarding the kid's foreskin.

As I get to (and past) the age of peers having kids, some of them sons, I've seen some of them announce that decision on Facebook, whether deliberately or unintentionally. It's a parenting decision parents make...some of them deciding before they know they're having a son.

It's sort of amazing how many new parents will talk about it. Some won't do so openly, but will when asked, maybe even in a roundabout way.

Then again, people definitely want to defend their decision or bring people over to their side of the fence.

But the kid grows up...and yeah, I can see why a parent of a son around the age of 10 or 11 wouldn't want to discuss that. On one of the Wrap-Up Shows, Rahsaan and Gary were discussing it. Gary was asked what his sons were and he was like "Yeah ...they're college age now. It's probably a bit too awkward to discuss" but did so anyway.

You're gonna tell him that it's his private area and he doesn't have to show friends who ask to see it, but you're gonna tell your own friends something like:

"His dad had a strong opinion. All my prior boyfriends were, so I brought my own opinions. It was a hard decision, but we ended up not doing it."

"Over the course of my career around young childen, I've had to help some of them with potty training. Not that I try to peek, but you see what you see. Over the past 10 or so years, the percentages have changed. I didn't really have a strong opinion either way until I had to change a newborn's diaper."

"I was changing the gauze when he had a gigantic fecal blowout."

"We didn't really know what to do, but his dad had it done and we wanted him to fit in with his friends."

I can totally understand why people keep that decision private. Some parents will change the kid's diaper right in the middle of their group of friends and maybe even let him have naked time so everything can air out. Others will always attempt to find a private room (at least to keep the smell isolated) and if a private room is impossible, they'll face a corner of the room.

I'm sort of surprised they didn't edit that moment out.

I think it's uncomfortable when you go to someone's house and their kid is running and crawling around totally naked. I can't say it's 'wrong' but at the same time, I would never do that and it's weird to me when others do it.

I also have vague memories of parents bringing their young kid to the beach and let them be nude. It was decades ago but maybe it still happens? I don't go to beaches much anymore.

It depends on the company, IMO.

If it's close family in a private situation, it's a different story. A public beach is a different story...too many weirdos. People are gonna see their nephews, nieces or their grandkids naked. Such is life.

I was in a line one time (or, it you're Gary, I was on line) and someone went maybe 20-35 feet away with her baby, put the blanket down and it was obvious she was changing the diaper. There was private area anywhere around, so yeah, stepping away from the situation is the best/only option.

And yeah, if it's a baby shower for a boy, it's not entirely pervy to ask if they're gonna circumcise...but it's definitely the right of the expecting parents to give a non-commital answer even if they know.

"Ehh, we're sort of undecided."

And not just for privacy of the kid, but something controversial like that (including vaccines, cloth/disposable diapering, etc) and you open yourself up to all sorts of criticism.

Back to the beach situation: There's a music festival near me where women used to go topless. (Cue Ronnie.) A few years ago, I noticed a sizeable dropoff in the amount of topless women. Was it due to a change in law, which I was aware was trying to be made? Was it the festival trying to be more open towards families? Well...one of the organizers said it's because everyone has a camera. They don't actively discourage women from their freedom of personal expression and equality, but women also are aware that everyone has a camera.

I'd imagine it's the same with the beach.

Remember those blogs everyone had in the late 2000s? How many do you think have (had?) innocent pictures of their kids in normal situations like taking a bath? How many moms or dads mentioned "Michael had his circumcision today, poor baby."

The other situation is the changing table in the bathroom: If it's in the stall, it obviously takes a stall away from someone who may need it...but it also allows the baby to stay up there while the other person uses the toilet. It's also more private. If the table is by the sinks and trash can, it's more hygenic, but opens things up for eyes.
