Hulk Hogan is appearing at a grocery store near me in a few days.

I probably shouldn't mention I know of him through BTLS. (If you don't remember, it was the sex tape with Heather and Hootie in Bubba's bed that Spice Boy leaked to Gawker.)

I don't think I've met anyone else associated with the show, although Marianne from Brooklyn responded to my FB message. MarksFriggin is easily accessible via the internet, although he's just a regular fan who lucked into it. He's not wack pack, a frequent caller, etc. At most, he's "one-time website contributor" and a one-time guest.

And yeah, I met Bubba and Scott on the same day. That was a good day.
 
Jimmy Fallon just did this funny bit where he played a comment from Barack Obama talking about childish nicknames and tiny crowd sizes.

Can anyone recommend a place that does jewelry repair? I accidentally/on purpose broke my favorite necklace I need to have one link welded and another link/jump ring replaced and welded.

We had an ice cream truck come down our road when my son was about 6 or 7. As soon as I heard it, I couldn't believe it and grabbed my wallet and ran outside, knowing it may be the only time he'd ever get that experience. I was right. We never had it happen again. But it wasn't a Mr Softee, it was the usual ice cream sandwiches and stuff.

It used to be a rite of passage for childhood

 
There's a show called Court Cam. Each episode highlights several court cases. The stuff from the court rooms is all closed-circuit. It begins with a set up of the case and ends with how things played out.

The second of the 8/14/2024 episodes had a case where a MTF transperson had her testicles surgically removed. She put them in a container in her now-ex's refrigerator. She was there to remove all her stuff, apparently forget her testicles in the fridge. Well, eventually...the guy threw the testicles out. Basically...they were counter-suing.

Judge: "I don't know how much this specimen cost...I can't really put a number on it."

Defendant: "They were my testicles."

Judge: "They're not your damages."

Defendant: "They were my balls!" (Giggle)

Of course, all I could think about was Nicole Bass.

How the hell the judge kept a straight face is anyone's guess.
