I am guessing Alexander Dannenbaum. He didn't really co-found a radio station but he and William Steppacher bought WELK in 1934 and changed the call letters to WDAS. Good music – but an ugly building.

I want to like and also sad this message but it won't let you do both so just wanted to say that. How old were you bro? I was 24 when Mary Ann kicked the bucket. And she only made it to 61. But she managed to stay alive until I was an adult. So, good job there Mom.

As I've detailed elsewhere, my dad died unexpectedly from undiagnosed cancer in 1985, and my mom died unexpectedly in prep for cardiovascular surgery in 1988. I was 23 and 26, respectively. I was already living in New England when it all happened. My dad was 56, and my mom was 58.
