Atw 294 Thanksgiving Week

Food and the Macy's parade. Not much into Thanksgiving football since Madden retired. I'll probably just watch COPS all day.
1968 eagles thanksgiving day game. we shut out the lions 12-0!
Nothing. Well, I enjoy the return of 1/2 pound Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Aside from that, nothing. I have more misgivings than thanksgivings this year.

hopefully they are 3 good games.
i'm not even that upset about the eagles getting murdered. it's thanksgiving week! that will keep me in a good mood until we play the pack at home next sunday.
off to do my thanksgiving day food shopping tomorrow. should be fun.

ok, just got back from publix and have a whole bunch of food to take over to my dad's to cook for him on thursday.
i got a bunch of potatoes (sweet and normal, he likes sweet) for mash. it's only the two of us so i didn't get a turkey but i'm going to make him ribs and since i'm trying to stop eating pig i will have a chicken breast. i also got a shrimp platter. we will have some mac and cheese, string beans and carrots to round out the meal. dessert will be apple pie and some ice cream.
i'm looking forward to thursday. who knows how many more thanksgivings i got left with the 89 year old, old man.
