Right now, I'm sprawled out on the couch, shoving Chex Mix into my face; and I'm watching pairs figure skaters - who are at the pinnacle of human physical and artistic ability - and saying "ooh, there's a little slip", and "they could've done that a bit better". But overall, they're amazing.

We saw "Send Help" yesterday & really enjoyed it. There was just enough Sam Raimi goodness in it for a longtime fan like me.

We saw it at the Extreme Screen at Union Station - usually they show stuff like Pixar & animated movies because it's a family destination. Not sure why they put this there, but glad they did. The screen's even bigger than IMAX, & seeing the first showing of the day ( 12:30PM ) meant a $5 ticket.

Glad you liked it. I did too. Although I did not see it on an UltraScreen.
I said last week the next movie I was going to see was "How to Make a Killing" but my wife and I are going to see "Solo Mia" on Tuesday.
That will be some nice time together

My wife and I had a great time together watching "Solo Mio" today. Before we went, I was telling her about the Elvis song "Its Now or Never" being the same. I remember the Solid Gold Saturday Night DJ Dick Bartley would sing Solo Mio at the end when he would play Elvis's song.
We weren't exactly late but we didn't get advanced tickets and there was a line at the ticket counter and at the concessions. Then we saw that someone had purchased one of our favorite seats E18. I was shocked. I even gasped. Nobody ever sits there but us. So we bought the tickets on the opposite end of the row: E1 and E2. We still had enough gift cards and snack cash to get everything free: our tickets, drinks, my hot dog. And got in just in time to see the last preview for "Animal Farm". It turned out it was a young lady alone that purchased E18. But I thought our new seats were the perfect spot to see this movie.

Kevin James and Alyson Hannigan were in the movie although she was not the leading lady, it was another actress I've never seen before. who was great I would say this was the best Valentine's movie I've ever seen. It was funny but sad. I say it is the Sleeper of the Year considering it didn't look that good in the previews. After the film, my wife was hanging around watching the credits but I told her we should leave so that that young lady could leave the theater. It looked like she was waiting for everyone else to leave first which is what I use to do last year when I would go to the movies alone and sit in the front. I could relate to how she felt. It was nice to spend the afternoon with my wife watching this movie. After which we parted, she had meetings to go to and I went on my e-bike with some fairly good weather.

Next Tuesday I want to see "Crime 101" then the following week the Margaret Qualley movie should be out.

At home, I finished "Pluribus".
Kind've off topic, but for Presidents Day, I like to watch the Star Trek episode with Abraham Lincoln and the 2 part Bewitched episode with George Washington. I plan to fit that in at some point during that day.

I don't know if you saw this one, which I thought was pretty good

Yes I did. That was a good one. Maybe a spoof on the "Song Sung Blue" movie.

I did see one that I thought was pretty good with a young boy who was giving motivation speeches to his stuffed animals that he was going to succeed and at the same time showing him coaching youngsters at an older age. Not sure who the sponsor was

I'm watching Olympic women's skeleton sled racing, where they go 80 mph head-first at an inch over the ice. If you saw one of them at a bar, what kind of pickup line would work? I don't think they're easily impressed.
