We watched the Malcom Reboot: "Malcom In The Middle: Life is still Unfair" on Disney+ (Hulu). It was 4 episodes. We thought it was a new run but there are only 4 eposodes and no plans for season 2 or more episodes (yet). We weren't expecting much. It was pretty good. A bit more politically correct than the original. They brought back all the actors from the original except the ones which were dead but they paid homage to the dead ones as well. It was 4 episodes although they are all connected. Ideal for todays binge watcher. It was worth the watch.
I watched Malcom In The Middle: Life Is Still Unfair over the weekend and I cracking up laughing. I enjoyed the mini-series and hopping they do a season 2 sometime soon. I read the fans want more of the series.

Just about everyone returned from the original cast. They recast Dewey as the original actor as he was offered to come back. He refused and decided to retire from acting.

Why Was Dewey Recast in the Malcolm in the Middle Revival?

A new show on Apple TV
"Margo's Got Money Troubles". I watched this morning waiting in line for Bri the Baker and at the Y in the afternoon. It has Elle Fanning and Michele Pieffer.
Executive Producers include Dakota Fanning. About a college student that becomes pregnant from her professor. Not the best show but something I can watch during the day. And it's on Apple.

I think that came up when I signed-in to Apple TV. One of those hot new suggested shows. But we haven't watched it yet.

I watched all three "Margo's Got Money Troubles" episodes and it's good so far.

It has a pretty good cast in it Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, Nick Offerman, Greg Kinnear.

I saw Geoff Pierson and Nicole Kidman in one of the episodes as well.

Legally, she must appear at least once in every streaming series.

Well, There been 3 episodes and per IMBD she only appears in 5. Legally, she doesn't appear in every streaming series episode.

Mel Brooks is so funny. His movies were a huge part of my childhood.

"After all these years I found the money. There it is. It was in my basement." Hahahahahah

I'm just sad Barf can't be in The New One.

I hope they COMBED THE DESERT to find a replacement!

I was 9 when Men in Tights came out. My mom and my buddy's mom took us to it.

We had seen Jurassic Park a month or so earlier but that was a kinda scary movie so while I loved it and it is in my all time top 5 it didn't make me feel like a grownup. Like shit man some of that movie is scary.

Men in Tights had a bunch of what I considered at the time to be very adult jokes that Stu (my friend) and I were just about old enough to get. Like the chastity belt and that ugly chick that keeps trying to fuck Robin Hood. We both felt like pride that our moms thought we were adult enough to see it. Even though in reality they wanted to see it and our dads were at work so they couldn't leave us alone and just said fuck it, we'll bring the kids.

Then I don't remember when but I saw Spaceballs and Young Frankenstein and Life Stinks at home cause she bought them on VHS and I'm not sure when I saw Dead and Loving it but it was when I was older.

I haven't seen his others. I'm off today, I should go on a Mel Brooks binge.

Aaron I don't really want to watch them all, which ones prior to Spaceballs do you recommend most?

EDIT: oh shit! Young Frankenstein was 1974. I had no idea. I thought it came out in the late 80's to mid 90's like all the others I hold so dear as part of growing up.

My favourite Mel Brooks movie is still "Blazing Saddles".

Oh shit I forgot to add that one to my post. I def saw that when I was older though. After Dead and Loving it. Blazing Saddles is fantastic and I was likely around 18 when I saw that one.

The Producers (1967) is great.
History of the World Part 1 - also has some funny stuff, like the Last Supper scene

Thanks man! I'll start there.
