I watched all the episodes of Margo's Got Money Troubles and I really enjoyed the series. Hopefully there will be a season 2 soon.

Other Apple TV series, I have watched that are pretty good beside one of them.

Your Friends & Neighbors
Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed
For All Mankind

Widow's Bay - It suppose to be a mystery thriller. I don't know where the show going, seems a bit boring to me.

I binged watched The Burroughs over the weekend. I thought the whole series was pretty good with a decent cast.

It felt like watching Stranger Things placed in a retirement community. Supposedly the show got renewed for season 2.

I have watched quite a few movies this year. I haven't bothered updating my letterboxd yet.

Last night, I watched the first episode of Spider-Noir on Prime starring Nicolas Cage.

They drop all 8 shows, which you can either watch it in black and white or in color. I did watch part of it in B&W, which looks really good. I stuck with color. I'll try and finish the series by this weekend.

I am backlogged with new movies this weekend, guess I'll sort out which ones to see first. No shortage of interesting movies for me

"Tuner"
"Backrooms"
"Passengers"
"The Breadwinner" wife wants to see this one and sounding more appealing

You get extra bonus points this weekend so I may try to see two and one on Tuesday

At the movie theater

Saturday: Saw the "Breadwinner". Nice family outing but I had trouble staying awake. Not that I was bored, I think I had already done too much in the morning and got too relaxed with the seats.

Sunday: Had to choose between going to the Midget Races at the Angel Park Speedway, the city races. or going to see "Backrooms". I have never gone to the Midget Races before despite living here for 25 years. On the other hand, I had never seen "Backrooms" before and from the previews it looked really good.
So we went to "Backrooms". Just before arriving, I asked myself why I'm I so interested in this movie when all the previews showed was a bunch of empty rooms.
But it was very entertaining. It was spooky! And it did have people in the movie. All unknowns to me but in the movie. It was like watching "Lost" expect in a furniture store instead of the island. A little hard to understand but I believe I figured it out. This is for sure a movie to watch at the movies unless you watch very late at night undisturbed. The yellow paint of the empty rooms is very effective. And we both were given free popcorn

I also saw the previews of "Verity", a movie I saw the poster for last month. It looks as good as the poster. I also went by the Midget Races Sunday night during my biking. It was very crowded. I could see the people in the stands and the parking lots were all filled. I guess the people really like watching the races here. I'd liked to go it least once this summer. Also, during my bike ride coming back to the neighborhood, I saw that a house is being built on the open lot #666. I had been putting a pumpkin by the lot sign the last two years around Halloween. The basement hole has been dug up; weird I saw that the day I went to see "Backrooms"

Also, we finished Margo's Got Money Troubles, as well as Hacks. I think once we're done with Your Friends & Neighbors, that's it. I guess we'll take a summer break from TV.

Over the weekend, I finished watching Spider-Noir. I really enjoyed it and hope it gets renewed for Season 2.

The mix of classic detective noir, crime drama, and Spider-Man mythology felt fresh and unique. The black-and-white presentation gave the series its own identity rather than feeling like just another superhero show.

There’s no official Season 2 renewal yet, but the outlook seems promising. The creators have said they have ideas for multiple seasons, and the ending leaves plenty of room for more stories and adventures.
