The song was a favourite of my mom's and was sung at her funeral. It has sentimental attachment now. If not, it would not be on my list.
Gary Morris's remake of The Wind Beneath My Wings reached #4 on Billboard's October 29 1983 country chart and would win a "song of the year" award from the both the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music.
